10:30am: Women in Sports Broadcasting – The New Face of the Welsh ball
As the Welsh women’s team prepares for their historic first Euros performance, here is a conversation on a significant moment for Welsh sports and broadcasting. We will discuss how women are shaping the narrative in sports media, not only in front of the camera but also behind the scenes – as broadcasters, producers and business leaders. Joining the panel will be Carolyn Hitt (BBC Cymru Wales), Carys Owens (Whisper Cymru) and Geraint Evans (S4C), with experienced athlete and presenter Angharad Mair chairing. The discussion will address representation, the cultural change in the industry, and explore the opportunities available to women to develop successful careers, secure contracts, and lead in this competitive field.
Come and join us for an honest, inspiring and timely conversation discussing sport and broadcasting in Wales.

12pm: AI & Creativity: For better or worse
What can and can’t AI currently do? Learn about the latest AI tools, including live demos. We’ll see some both amazing and scary ways AI can expand creative horizons, democratise production and disrupt the media. We’ll be getting hands on so you can see the opportunity while we also discuss some of the ethical and rights challenges.
1pm: Lunch
2pm: Connecting Talent to Opportunity: The Role of the Creative Agent
What is the role of an agent in the creative industries – and more than that, how can a partnership with the right agent open doors, develop a career, and secure key contracts?
In this panel discussion, we will explore how agents connect talent with opportunity in fields such as acting, presenting, music and literature. We will be joined by Geraint Hardy from Regan Talent Management (agent for actors and presenters), Sioned Jones (agent for musicians and performers), and the author and scriptwriter Fflur Dafydd, who has two agents. Carys Ifan will chair the discussion.
The session will offer an honest insight into how to build a professional relationship with an agent, what to expect from the collaboration, and how to navigate the business side within a creative industry that is in continuous development.
